Kristina is a USA Weightlifting Level 1 coach with 9 years of experience competing in the sport of weightlifting. Throughout her career, Kristina earned her spot on two international teams as a Junior and a Senior athlete. Her most recent success has been winning the 2025 U25 National title.
Kristina’s journey in coaching began when her love for competition shifted to developing the well-being of others through movement. She first started out as a personal trainer, which led to her specializing in prenatal and postnatal fitness. The love for weightlifting never changed, so she began focusing solely on athletes of all ages and backgrounds, following a holistic approach between mindset training and technique development in weightlifting.
Kristina’s coaching philosophy revolves around creating an inclusive space for all individuals within weightlifting that nurtures compassion, care, and authenticity. Whether that’s someone brand new to the sport of weightlifting, a transitional athlete, or a seasoned athlete, she believes coaching isn’t just about teaching movements and prescribing a program. It’s about learning and understanding the athlete so that they can reach their greatest potential with supplemental programming.
