Since 2017

Founded in 2017, Fourteen Forty Collective has grown into one of the largest teams in USA Weightlifting and is the premier Olympic Weightlifting community in Pennsylvania. Our remote team is one of the largest in the country, with athletes spread from coast to coast and varying from beginners to international competitors. For our athletes here in PA, we offer training locations in Harrisburg and King of Prussia. 

Our Coaches have experience developing hundreds of athletes, from those learning the sport, to American Record Holders, International medalists and countless National Champions on the Senior, Junior, Youth and Masters level.

Kyle is a USA Weightlifting International Coach with over a decade of experience guiding athletes to success at the highest levels of competition. Throughout his career, Kyle has coached athletes to become Youth, Junior, and Senior National Champions, as well as International Medalists representing TEAM USA.

Kyle’s journey in coaching began with his founding of the Shippensburg University weightlifting team, where his passion for athlete development and the sport took root. In 2017, he established Fourteen Forty, a premier weightlifting program dedicated to helping athletes achieve their goals through a holistic, performance-focused approach.

Kyle’s coaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive, growth-oriented environment that fosters both physical and mental strength. Whether working with emerging talent or experienced lifters, he believes that supporting the person over the athlete is what Coaching is all about.

Head Developmental coach - David Laudermilch

David started weightlifting at West Virginia University in 2014 where he served as club president helping to establish the USAW club.

As co-founder David spends most of his time ensuring that operational quality and development needs are being met within the company.

When coaching, David specializes in sports and athletic performance, strategizing for national meets, and providing onsite guidance in Harrisburg and Philadelphia. David specializes in competition data analytics and strategy preparation.
